The tile work is DONE! It just needs a day of grouting and the next phase can start!
 The floor turned out amazing!
Still cannot get over how clear that window is...
 isn't the floor gorgeous???
The shower floor has been grouted.
You can see the silver color grouting we chose. It looks great on the marble.
The basket weave on the cubby has been grouted too. The subway tile will be grouted in white.
This is the color we are using for the marble. It's a little more expensive, but will be so worth it!
The lower left portion hasn't been grouted yet, the silver was the perfect choice!

The new window was installed yesterday in the guest bath. I am soo happy I decided to change that window! It feels like there isn't a window there! Infact, I had to touch it because I thought maybe there had been a problem and they hadn't been able to install the window after they removed the old one! Hehe!
Here is the window that was there before! Amazing how much brighter the room is too!
The basket weave is getting installed today! Infact, Victor thinks he may be done today! Eek!
The marble counter top was installed yesterday too! (The sink is just in to make sure the hole was cut correctly, our contractor is switching out the faucets later in the week ;)). The contractor has almost a week of work after Victor gets done. He will be installing beadboard and trim... the plumber needs to install the tub, shower fixtures and sink fixtures... but it is getting closer!
The shower floor, last of the bullnose pieces and the top row of the shower will be installed today too! And hopefully grout!!!
It won't be long now! Guess I need to find knobs and pulls for the cabinets, a mirror, toilet paper holder, towel bars, light fixture above the sink and get that chandelier cleaned! Wow! I guess I got some shopping to do!
Can you believe we ran short 2 bullnose pieces of subway tile! Ack! I tried to order it from Lowes where I originally special ordered the bullnose tile from, but it was going to take a week and a half to receive it. ( We ran short due to the change in the bathtub, we forgot we had made that little change, oops!) So the hubby began calling around to see if we could get some locally. He found 1 place that had some... I brought it home it was snow white and ours is ice white, so there was just a little color difference. Probably not noticeable... but the hubby wasn't happy. He sent me to Lowes to buy 2- 4x4 white bullnose pieces and asked Victor, our tile guy if he could make them work. He said he could, whew!
Saturday while the hubby was flying all day I took a little break from working in the yard to summerize the house! I bought the subway art above the fireplace on a trip to Pier One on Friday, everything else I already had.
I love to shop the house when I decorate!
I made the summer specimen art last week in the craft cottage.
I was surprised when I realized it was in the right colors for my "summer decor". Love when things like that happen don't you?
I have been collecting driftwood for sailboats, so I added it to a wicker bucket along with a few shells in the smaller bucket.
One of these days I plan on putting some curtains on those windows! Ha!
For now I am pretty happy with the room. I'll let you take a closer look!

Have a lovely day!

A walk through the yard for my mom! The rhododendrons mid spring variety are in bloom!

The white wisteria on the arbor...
 oriental poppy's...

 some kind of hydrangea maybe?

Wild roses are just beginning to bloom...
 purple wisteria on the house...
This pretty flower popped up in the middle of the day lily bed.
harvested all the rhubarb, most of it went into the freezer for rhubarb pie, muffins and jam. Yum!
