The Dillingham Airfield, also known as Mr. Bill's Glider Rides.
Airports, airplanes yes, the hubby was a happy guy!
We only wandered around though, no glider rides for us!
Although the hubby tried really hard to get a ride in this! After watching them pull a glider up in the air and fly back down, even I thought it might be fun to take a ride!
We made a very brief stop at Mokuleia Beach to watch the kite surfers!
Finally some lunch in Haleiwa! Cholo's was delish! Worth the 20 minute wait!
After lunch we drove through Haleiwa town to see some of the town itself. Above is an 80year old bridge that crosses Anahulu Stream.
It is a cute beach town for sure!
Next stop Waimea Vally
So many flowers everywhere!
We got rained on most of our 1.5 mile round trip walk! But it was totally worth it!
Yes, I kinda have the jungle look going on! Like I said it rained most of our walk up tot the falls! This was one of our favorite flowers. A closer pic is below!
